"Blood for Iran"

Yesterday ten members of the Local Committee Cologne went to the University Hospital to donate blood. After getting there, first there was a check of blood pressure, temperature and so on, followed by a short interview with a doctor (we convinced her that Tehran in spring is not a potential malaria area). Afterwards the transfer of our blood began, each of us donated up to half a liter.

This activity was part of our fundraising efforts to secure financial capacity to act. But besides the money we aquired we did a good deed by filling the blood bank of the hospital and we had, at least a little, fun.

Thanks to every participant, you did well!

Gert
