Arrival at IPM

I just arrived at Kairo airport. Kevin already arrived and Kathrin will arrive in three hours. At IPM we will apply for unofficial extension status, we will be updated on the newest development within the AIESEC network, enhance our leadership skills and make a lot of important contacts.

A new President for the International Network has already been elected.
Gabriela Abescu, also known as Gabiza, originally from Rumania, last year responsible for People Delevopment within AIESEC International is it. She is great. She was responsible for extending AIESEC to Moldowa and really likes us (extensions).



I will go to Egypt to the International Presidents Meeting.
There I will support the application of Iran for unofficial extension status.
This should be the first step. Following official extension in August on international congress and the after fulfilling membership criteria twice applying for full membership on IPM 2010.

That will be quite a lot of work, but think about the opportunities that will be created for the Iranian students.
